Yahoo! Group

The club has it's own group on Yahoo! Follow the directions below to join. The group has been useful for getting together for "Show & Go" rides as well as providing another communication device. If you don't have a Yahoo! username, try joining the mailing list to reach everyone via email.

What is Yahoo! Group?

Yahoo Groups is a free service offered by Yahoo.com. The service brings people interested in specific topics together over the Internet for the purpose of easily communicating with each other primarily through e-mail..

How does the communication work?

Any group member wishing to communicate with everyone in the group creates a message and e-mails it to the group e-mail address: BicycleSF@yahoogroups.com. Messages received at the group e-mail address are then automatically delivered to every individual member who has joined the group.

Any group member choosing to respond to a message can either respond directly to the sender or respond to the entire group.

How do I join (or leave) the group?

Club membership is not required to participate in this group. To begin the process, simply send a message to BicycleSF-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Then follow the instructions in any subsequent e-mail messages. To help protect the group from unwanted advertising there is a short approval process for all individuals joining the group.

To leave the group, simply send a message to BicycleSF-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com.
